"Beware that this is 4.5 hours away from the San Jose Airport! They do NOT inform anyone of this and you need to get to the Ferry to cross over to Tambor which is not 24/7 You need to plan very carefully so you don't lose a day like I did and so many others did that I met at the Hotel. They are also very aware of this and have done nothing about it!! The buffet food is ok. Not the best, but not the worst. You will find something. The Italian ala carte restaurant is excellent! "We had the best stay at the Full Moon! The house was comfortable and well-appointed with indoor and outdoor areas to relax. The outdoor showers were lovely! The best part of our stay, though, was the location - away from the bustle of Santa Teresa, and a short walk to the beach. We were able to rent surf boards and get lessons right across the street and then come back later for lunch at the Cafe. It was an excellent week of surfing at Playa Hermosa! For dinner out, we highly recommend Atardecer...

"The grounds were beautiful. Great community area (use of the kitchen too!) and pool. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Right across from the ocean. If you go during the hottest months, be aware that the cabins have 3 mesh walls. We did not find this as a problem since there were 2 fans and quite comfortable in the evenings. Really, who spends too much time in their room on vacation anyway. That aside, the cabins are quite comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks."
