"The interior courtyard is lovely, quiet, lots of shady spaces to relax, while still being close to the historic Centro. We had stayed in a conference hotel for a few days prior, and the change of pace to calm and privacy was very welcome, especially as they allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was also tasty, and appreciated small touches, like a basket of sunscreen and buy spray. Some of the possible options associated with the Casa del Maya seemed a bit too new age / woo for my taste, but...

"It is a very nice and beautiful hotel to stay in when you visit Merida. The owners Jorge and Sarah are two top hosts and will ensure that you will not miss anything.
