"Overall great stay however I was a little disappointed with the checking in service due to arriving not long after the reception was closed. The call from reception about full payment and deposit was understood however I had paid my full deposit and wanted to complete the remainder of the transaction first thing in the morning due to needing to use a different payment method for work purpose however there was no flexibility and people were somewhat rude on the phone. "

"Fantastic had no idea of being a back packers venue at all stayed end of gold coast Alfred cyclone had particularly nothing yet greeted and looked after with my partner so kindly the bedroom was so clean welcoming bathroom clean and big had a very safe comfortable place to stay thank you to the man at reception for all your all your helo"

Gary and Helen's hospitality is so rare nowadays. I have never experienced such service. If you are single or a couple and want an extremely comfortable and central location without the noise of a typical hotel, then this place is a must."
