"Avania is a short walk from the beach. The lobby and rooms have all been updated and redecorated. Our room on the ground floor had a private patio with two chairs and a small table. Shower was great and easy to use, though bathroom is small. Breakfast room is light and airy with loads of seating and good food. We would stay there again!!"

"The view was great. The kitchen was fine but there could have been basic seasonings provided. There was salt but no pepper. The property manager never responded to my question about EV charging. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a weekend. Summerland is a nice quiet community close to Santa Barbara and Carpinteria."
