"Had a great time, the cottage is lovely. This could be the perfect location for you, but I has a couple of issues that may not affect you. 1) The ceiling in the shower room is too low for very tall people to stand up straight. There’s nothing that can be done about this, it’s an old cottage with a pitched roof, it’s just a quirk of the building. For a few days it’s not a big deal, but it’s worth being aware of if you are tall. 2) Its got an electric hob, which I found really hard to cook on -...

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage.
