"Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. "This is a lovely little place with a great pub with really friendly staff and great food. Excellent dog walk on the other side of the road. The room has a fridge microwave kettle and toaster. The owner was a bit stressed about the shower having failed but they had called a plumber and all was fixed with no problems and lots of apologies. Would recommend!!"

"Good communication and ease of booking. Very easy to find. Parking not to difficult although not outside (as listing says). Great location with just a short walk into town. Heating good and needed in January. Loads of hot water for the group and good showers. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Would recommend. Only negative bathrooms not cleaned from previous booking."

"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

Amazing Stay – Relaxing Hot Tub & Fantastic Food!

"We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hotel itself was beautiful, but the highlight was definitely the hot tub – the perfect addition for a truly relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic—so friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding, full of flavour and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just perfect. Every little detail made the stay feel special, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
