"This was my second two-night stay in the Tillyer House at the Publick House in the past month. It couldn't have been nicer! Front desk staff were very accommodating about my need for a late check-out. Handicapped parking was mere steps from my room (and no stairs). The room itself was exceptionally clean, with a very comfortable queen beds, crisp linens, and soft, plentiful towels. The best part was the shower, with a padded bench and two nozzles. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!"

"Checking in was the weirdest most un-hotel like experience I have ever experienced. The restaurant next door was kind enough to watch my car and belongings to check in . There’s no place to pull over and do so . Very bizarre and stressful after a long day on the road . And ,again , the folks working the restaurant next door went out of there way to help my 10 year old and I around ! Very friendly , helpful locals but totally useless help once we got inside . You are on your own from the moment you decide to stay here . We lugged our luggage across a hot steaming parking garage , across the casino floor and then finally to our elevator . No one is there to help you . All of arrival is super awkward , makes no sense and is frustrating when all you want to do is check in and plan to eat !! lol but that was the best part . The steakhouse was great . The staff were wonderful and if it hadn’t been for them , we would’ve had a terrible visit in old Springfield . Just to be honest !"
