The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel shares a parking lot with Dunkin and military building was right across the street which made you feel safe.

Towels are cheap and thin. Extreme noise (jackhammer) from workers renovating this outdated hotel. On top of all that, an off-leash dog ran across the lobby and jumped up on me - the hotel staff did nothing and the dog owner just laughed. I come to Springfield MA frequently and will never stay at La Quinta again.
