"The rooms were clean and the reception staff was helpful! Very convenient location next to the underground station and plenty of dining/pub options nearby. The shower took a while for the water to heat up and the pillows were a bit flat but not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, I’d recommend this place to those who are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for a short trip. "

"Absolutely lovely. Well lit leading to hotel, safe area to walk late at night, and the right amount of space. Staff always helpful and kind. Heads up if you have a large suitcase as there is no lift. Coffee and tea available in lobby, and a little sink in the room. All of about ten minutes from major train station, less for smaller one. "Very convenient location for exploring London. Room was small but comfy. Only downside was lack of private toilet, although we were lucky not to have to wait for other customers during our stay. No frills but ok for the money."

"The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby was a bit austere, but it was clean and the staff at the front desk was polite. The only real issue I had was the non-functioning heat. When I checked in, my room was 15 degrees. I ran the heat for an hour or two and never went up. I called down to the front desk and their solution was to bring up a space heater. It worked, but it took several hours for the room to reach a comfortable temperature. I'm not sure if the heating was...

"Have stayed here many times over the years when it was owned by a private family but now it is run by a company. They have discontinued breakfast however it is well run and good value for the money particularly because of the excellent location"
