"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the St Athans Hotel. There were plenty of restaurants and shops around which were easy to walk to. The staff was helpful and kept our luggage safe and locked when it was too early to check in and after when we had checked out but it was too early to go to the airport. They cleaned our room and provided us with extra towels when asked. We also felt safe since you cannot just walk in- you ring the bell and they have to let you in. We were worried the shared bathrooms...

"The Menton was an easy walk with roller bags from Kings Cross, and we stayed for one night before getting the Eurostar the next morning. The one drawback - which can be avoided if you ask - was the stairs. We were given a room on the third floor and even with my strong 23 year old we struggled to get the suitcases up and down a very tight set of stairs.
