"Didn't have high expectaions as this was a stop to help break up a long drive. Was pleasantly surprised by the renovated rooms, friendly staff, proximity to some great restaurants within walking distance. This will definitely be our go to when in the area!"

"Room is clean, bed comfy and surrounding clean. However, room service did not pick my calls and the building is NOT AT ALL secure. I expected to swipe my card to gain access after hours especially as there was seldom any receptionist at the lobby but the doors opened as I approached and I walked through the lobby to the stairs without seeing anyone."

"Hotel lobby is a little dated but our room was very clean and comfortable. The area itself is definitely a little rough, especially at night and the parking garage smelled pretty bad. However, it was very well lit and we never had any issues. I’d recommend this hotel for a night or two, just be mindful of your surroundings. "

"Decent Hotel. My room had a broken entrance door and closet door. Stains on the carpet and issues in the bathroom. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent."

"Great location for Stratford Festival theatre. Had some concerns because peewee age hockey teams were at same hotel. Fortunately, they have been quiet. It would be nice to know ahead of time if there are such events or at least be able to request rooms distant from those shared by groups that are potentially noisy."

"The hotel is clean and well located for a stay in Guelph if you have a car. The breakfast was surprisingly good with hot items. The breakfast room is a bit small so sometimes crowded. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was free and lots of availability."

"This is a beautiful and peaceful property in a nice area. The room was clean and the bed and bedding were ultra comfortable leading to a great night’s sleep. Staff at check in were friendly and efficient and housekeeping staff were very accommodating & helpful. This property is in a great location with dining, shopping and outdoor activities all conveniently close by. We enjoyed our stay. "
