"This cottage is perfect for a mini getaway. We enjoyed the welcome gift and the small touches. The indoor outdoor games were fun, the record player added a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals in. It helped to have the cooking essentials (oils, spices and seasonings already in the cupboard). The sunsets and sunrises were amazing and the family pass for Point Pelee was a thoughtful touch. The boardwalk and lookout towers were worth the visit. We can’t wait to come back! "

"This was our second time staying at this incredible VRBO, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first! We visited for Family Day weekend, and it was absolutely perfect in every way.1. The View: The view of Lake Erie is breathtaking. In winter, with the lake frozen far out, the landscape looks both desolate and stunning—something truly special to wake up to every morning.2. Point Pelee National Park: Visiting in the off-season was a dream—no crowds, just peaceful trails and plenty of wildlife, including so many wild turkeys! It felt like having the park to ourselves.3. The Kitchen: We love to cook, and this kitchen is a dream! Fully stocked with everything needed for meal prep, perfectly laid out, and so easy to use. We made all our meals at home, even coming back from the park each day for a hot lunch.4. The Hosts: Mike and his team go above and beyond. Mike called the day before we arrived, worried about us driving in the forecasted snowstorm. While we were on route, he texted to say he had salted the steps but reminded us to be careful. Then, the next morning, he showed up and snowblowed everything! The care and attention to detail are unmatched.We would rate this 11/10 if we could. This place is officially our go-to spot, and we already can’t wait to come back!"
