"I liked the property, but I was disappointed that Expedia didn’t mention the required deposit when booking. When I started receiving calls about leaving a deposit larger than the actual stay—and since it wasn’t processed through Expedia directly—I initially thought it was a scam."

"Overall, the appartment was kind of sketchy. It is definitely not beautiful, and if it was newly renovated, it is in need of more renovation. There is peeling paint in places, some of the baseboards are coming off, all the heat/ventilating registers are all covered over with tape and paper, doorknobs don't work, mousetraps were set in various places. It was also quite dirty - it doesn't look like the appartment in the picture. It also should be noted in the ad that it is a basement appartment....

"We were in town attending a wedding the weekend during which Taylor Swift was in Toronto, and so most places downtown were either booked or exorbitantly expensive. We were happy to find this place in Markham, just off the 407, which allowed for a speedy arrival and departure from the city. As relates to the property itself, it is faithful to the description: it is a granny suite/basement apartment with a shared entrance to the main residence directly upstairs. The space was immaculately clean...

"We rented for a small wedding - 25 total The house is huge & all the wedding party was able to stay togather. It was the perfect size & layout. The area is quiet as the house is rather tucked into the peach orchard. The peach orchard, gardens & yard were amazing in July as the background for our daughter's wedding! The owner was quick to respond to all our questions before & during our stay. Well done Orchard Villa!"

"Great stay at this property with my daughters and their families. The cottage was very clean and only a block away from the lake. Little extras were appreciated at this property, including a welcome tray of goodies with a bottle of wine. We enjoyed the pool and nearby park. Niagara on the Lakes restaurants are all close by.
