"This hotel was one of the most affordable in Taos the night I stayed, so I really wasn’t expecting much. Upon check-in, the front desk staff informed me she had “upgraded” my room at no charge. The room was beyond awesome, the size of a full apartment, with a small kitchen, patio, living room area, fireplace, murphy bed, huge comfortable california king size bed, beautifully handcrafted furniture and beautiful natural wood details on the ceiling and throughout the room. "incredible old historic hotel. Very interesting displays. Room was small, shower very small. Floor uneven but what do you expect. Service outstanding. Diamond Belle saloon fun but does get crowded. Be aware there are steps to get into the hotel but the front desk will help with luggage. "

"Lovely classic La Fonda at its best. Kevin Wu efficiently, professionally, courteously checked us in and our rooms were absolutely lovely. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, beautiful Santa Fe style decor and Nespresso coffee makers with liquid creamer in the room to top it all off - perfect!"

"Rockwell is a very clean and cozy property. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The beds are cloud-like and the linen is white as snow. You can confidently walk into the shower, knowing that they are safe for people of all ages and pristine. My family and I enjoyed staying there and strongly recommend it to future Expedia travelers.
