I feel bad for the staff here. There are like 4-5 people working the whole hotel. The staff is doing what they can. The problem is the management and owners. The pool will cause hypothermia, the hot tubs are in disrepair. There are no towels unless you bribe the staff. The heating unit in the room blew directly into my back while not sleeping. The fact that this has an average of 3.5 means 3.5 is a one. The only thing good here are the mattresses and the kitchen is ok, you’re on your own for everything else.

if you’re looking for a hotel you have to keep asking for towels, blankets and stuff this is the place. phones doesn’t work so get ready to go down for single thing after a day of ski. first off we called from airport around 10am and were told that room is ready, fast forward we came and no room is ready understandable since it’s not guaranteed but we were waiting in lobby for 3 hours and she started assigning room to people just walking in and we asked that you know there are three families waiting she rudely said well you should’ve checked like what!. we go in room not vacuumed no towels not even bedding done so idk what was taking so long and how’s these rooms ready. no food options for except for mediocre restaurant on site from 4-8pm only dominos delivers so better ready to go to town and bring back some. second day we came from ski whole day and no housekeeping came no towels , no nothing, came downstairs to get in a queue since everyone is down asking. The staff literally told us that every towel is in washer dryer cycle and when i said my kid is in shower already they gave me a walmart mainstays pool towel(not even sure if it was a pool towel). we had two rooms one didn’t even had a curtain and the other had holes in it i should’ve taken pictures. we have been to so many hotels around but this was worst experience. everyday we walked past and there’s families waiting for room at 4,4:30,5:00pm. only good thing is location. housekeeping doesn’t understand english.

Terribly mismanaged property. Multiple guests left their rooms in search of other lodging during our stay. Towels were not available as well as blankets. The first night we slept in sheets at a cold mountain resort. The hot tubs were green and not hot, the pool too cold to swim in. Just a dirty grungy place. You get woken up at 6am with the snowmobiles getting lined up for tours each morning. Save a potentially disappointing trip and go elsewhere!

Unable to check in at the appropriate times 1600. Rooms not ready. Upon getting to the room no towels or bath amenities provided. Upon writing this review 13.5 hours later we still do not have towels or amenities. Front desk staff in helpful and continued to say we are on the list. As of 5:30 am, no one available at the front desk. The hotel has two hot tubs both operating at Luke warm temperatures of 98 degrees. One of the warm tubs jets do not work. Also no towel available anywhere. Parking lot almost in accessible. No snow plowing services. Vehicles stuck everywhere and the bans so high you are unable to see if you are even in parking lot. Does not appear to be security on the property as people were running up and down and partying lauding in the hallways from 11100 to 1:00 am with no one stopping this. This might be hands down the worst property in a resort town that I have ever stayed at. Someone owes me a refund. Run far away from this property. Not worth a dime.

When I got there the first day eventhough it was paid they overbooked the hotel and did not have a room for me and my family. We had to sleep in the lobby area given all other hotels were booked. The facility was also missing towels, the hot tub operation was limited. There was not a sauna although one was advertised. The heater was too close to the bed blowing the heat on you when you are trying to sleep.

The property is older and showing signs of wear. We booked with our 4 yr old based on having a pool/hot tub but the pool was ice cold and the hot tub was neon green with slime. Once we got into the room it appears to have been cleaned but def some questionable age to the furniture. Overall that the end of the day you get what you pay for but the real kicker is the restaurant was not open and it’s not East to get to the base from here for dinner.

Unless something major changes, we will not be returning. 1. Our room has a giant crack in one of the windows. 2. Our room came with one towel and no hand soap. 3. The desk doesn’t answer any calls and you have to go down to them for everything. 4. Everything is about 15 years out of date. 5. Restaurant and bar not open on New Year’s Eve… what? Ultimately, the place clearly makes enough money and the owners just don’t care to improve anything. I will say, the location is great if you’re skiing. But I would spend just a little bit more and get something way nicer.

It is in a convenient location and the shuttle bus stops at it. The property is in poor shape and needs a lot of repairs. They had limited breakfast items and even ran out of coffee cups and breakfast. On some nights, the restaurant was not even offering dine in options and served dinner in to-go boxes.

While this hotel is well situated across from the ski resort, the facility has not been maintained to handle its heavy use by winter sports enthusiasts. The common areas are tired and worn. In the rooms, the furnishings are old, dated, very old carpet, a broken lampshade, blankets were as thin as sheets and the requested additional blanket was a nasty material that felt rubbery. Awful, lumpy pillows The lights were of the lowest possible wattage, making the rooms very dim. So few outlets and no USB plug ins made charging devices difficult. Forget about washing your hands because no soap is provided and the shampoo and conditioner were so tiny the could not wash half of your hair. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of a few single serving boxes of cereal and frozen breakfast sandwiches. It was the Christmas holidays and there was only one person working. There was a mix up of our reservation and while she offered to fix the issue, she was too busy to complete the task. After repeated requests and finally speaking with the mostly absent manager, the issue was resolved. Since the ski shuttle system picks up skiers from all over Winter Park, choose a better property, if not as close to the ski resort.
