"We really enjoyed this property. We traveled with children and the property had popcorn and cookies out in the lobby, so they loved that. The property was up to date and everything was functioning as expected. The room was very clean excepted for stained couch cushions. The staff were helpful and friendly. "

"I was initially going to cancel because there was a flood warning for the Ohio River that blew up in the days leading to my visit. I called Harrah's three times in the days leading up to the visit and they confirmed they were open and no concerns. Upon arrival, I was told they were closing the property at 5pm the next day so we needed to leave promptly with no extensions. The casino itself does not open until 8am on Sundays and is generally very small."

"This was the best hotel, my wife and myself have stayed at in several years. Very clean and well taken care of. We will stay here at our next trip back to the area. surprisingly under-booked for it's location, between Effingham and Vandalia."
