"The hotel is in the perfect position just down from the wharf. It has plenty of parking. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little old but absolutely clean, the beds are plush with plenty of pillows and doonas. The bathroom is well equipped and clean with a shower only. There was a bit of noise in the hallways at night so sound does carry, but not the hotel's fault. Would def recommend this hotel to others and stay here again if I was visiting the Bay of Islands. "

"Its obvious this is an established venue and they are slowing upgrading. However the carpets are a mess. So much liquid spilled in the hallways and rooms. Maybe a dark rug under the coffee tables would help enhance the initial appearance. Otherwise super happy with the accommodadtion. Thanks! "
