"Great location near the Arenal Volcano. Easy access into the town of La Fortuna. Plenty to do around the property, primarily enjoying a range of thermal pools. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice restaurants. Fun spa. Even a small gym. A great place to visit."

"Camino Verde is an exceptional place to stay. The shared deck area is a real highlight. It boasts views across into the cloud forest and is protected from the wind and mist by folding floor to ceiling glass doors. There is a wood burning stove, shared kitchen, free tea and coffee all day. The breakfast is exceptional and good food can be enjoyed in the Soda just next door. The decor is quirky and there are plenty of shared indoor and outdoor spaces so whichever room you choose, there are always options. Walkable into the centre of Santa Elena with secure parking. Highly recommended. "

The hot springs pools, while not as lush as those at Tabacon, were actually better for relaxing in, having your own space, grabbing a drink and a bite to eat, etc. Was impressed at how well suited this place is both for a couple's getaway and for a family-friendly stay."
