Lunch and dinner were served at a restaurant which was part of the hotel. Charges cannot be made to the room from the meals. I definitely will stay there again."

"The Suites Santo Domingo was a pleasant place to stay, although my room was over the street (more like an alley) and it was noisy from early in the morning until late in the evening. I had to laugh when I saw the electronic safe in the closet had its’ power cord hanging down and there was not an outlet to plug it into. Luckily I didn’t have valuables I needed to store in a safe. "Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was an issue with getting clean towels upon request. However, clean towels were provided. This is a quaint place that is clean and walkable distance to the center if town. Word of advice, bring something back to your room to snack on since front desk doesn't provide anything to purchase and the sidewalks are rolled up in S.M.A. after 830 pm during the weekday. We would stay here again. "

When he opened the door at the street I was alarmed to see what looked like a rather messy backyard, with a large tent-like structure and a concrete chiminea, as well as drums, odd sculptures and used mats lying about. He took me to a ground floor room and I was alarmed to see that it had no windows except for a large one that that had to remain curtained because it looked out to the indoor sitting area I had just walked through.
