Peace and Quiet at Our Habitas
We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surroundings of our casita. The room is well equipped and the bed very comfortable and it’s great to have a little deck from which to watch the sunset. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious and all the staff at Our Habitas go out of their way to assist and pamper their guests. After spending time in the buzzing Centro of San Miguel, the grounds of Our Habitas felt like an oasis and we recommend the hotel to anyone seeking such a balance during their stay in this beautiful city. Given the spacious and attractive restaurant and common areas, the hotel also appears perfect for weddings and other celebrations or group gatherings.

The hotel itself was stunning, the staff, the room. However, the water was ice cold in the shower, the property was extremely hard to find and get in and out, still needed to complete construction of the hotel. No pool and really no spa, but the hot stone massage I got was award winning! Beautiful hotel, just waiting to be completed.

San Miguel bliss
We enjoyed a couple of quiet days on the periphery of San Miguel at Our Habitas after spending 3 weeks close to Centro where the noise level can be very high. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially helping us check in with our large amount of luggage. The casita rooms are comfortable and it’s nice to have a small outdoor space to sit and watch the sunset. There is no TV in the room which further supports taking in the stillness of the natural environment. The included breakfast offers many choices and everything we tried was delicious. The outdoor communal spaces next to the restaurant are furnished with cushy sofas where people can soziale and relax. The music played throughout the common areas was mostly chill and consistently enjoyable. The rooms are not Four Seasons luxury but if one cherishes piece and quiet in a natural setting than Our Habitas Hotel is a wonderful choise in close proximity to town.

Reservé una escapada al hotel, pero la experiencia fue decepcionante. Los carritos de golf no funcionaban y el personal era escaso, así que tuvimos que cargar nuestras maletas por un camino de grava. La habitación era pequeña y sencilla para el precio, encontré insectos (incluso uno en mi cama) y no hay room service. Aunque el restaurante es excelente, es muy caro. No tienen alberca; solo acceso a "La Playita", donde debes reservar camastros con anticipación, pero durante nuestra estancia hubo problemas: un día evento privado, otro sin camastros y otro sin transporte. Recomiendo buscar otro hotel en San Miguel con mejor servicio y amenidades por el mismo costo.
