"Great location between Michigan Ave and the lake, close to lots of shopping, restaurants and attractions but still feels off the beaten path. The suite style rooms have a cool, sleek design that feel both contemporary and comfortable and are very good sized with a large bathroom, sleeping area and separate full-sized living room. Friendly, helpful front desk staff and lobby bar but no real other amenities. "

"Pros: 1) Stay was good overall. 2) The location was spot on and the hotel was clean. Cons:1) The hotel walls are not noise insulated at all. So if someone is having a party in the next room you cannot sleep at night. This happened during my first night at the hotel. Even after informing front desk the shouting did not stop and at around 2am the people partying got tited and that gave me the privilege of sleeping. 2) They hold an extra $100 for each day you stay. "The bathroom has a sensor and shuts off every 3 mins. Trying to shower was a nightmare because mid shower the light kept turning off. There is no way to stop this from happening. I stayed for 4 nights and it was such a pain every day. "

"Good all around except issue both on check in and check out .Upgrading their software/ PMS they had not transferred our booking so looked like we had no reservation. Took 2 of them several minutes to book us in. Frustrating as had been emailed day before to check in online with all our details(like airline)otherwise our booking would be seen as a no show .On checkout found they had not connected rooms for charging so delay while connected 2 room booking so could settle with one payment"

"It was a beautiful older model hotel, alot of the original structure remains. TVs were outdated, my room could have been cleaner as there was hair left on the hair dryer & some on the sheets. One of the doorman Steve greeted us & was absolutely phenomenal & full of knowledge for our first time in Chicago. The food was ok, nothing to be excited about. The beds were pretty hard & rooms hot without a thermostat. Overall it was a decent stay."
