It didn't matter to me, but I think families with young kids, should probably check it out as an alternative to lots of other hotels. Yes, Rokko Island is a bit inconvenient for most tourists, but it's affordable, got big rooms, has the Sanrio stuff and the area is very nice and not crowded. "
