"Unfortunately I did not have the best experience at this hotel. First night had to get the front desk to help me get rid of a HUGE spider & there were cockroaches in the hotel room. It hurt to shower because the pressure was so strong. The windows are bolted shut so it feels like you are a bit of a prisoner. Not the safest area.. I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews about playa Hermosa. I would recommend Taramindo and Flamingo "

"Everything about our stay was fabulous. Newer construction in a gated community felt very secure and luxurious. The house is even more stunning than the photos! Very nice, private outdoor area with plenty of places to sit or enjoy the pool. Perfect for 2 or 3 couples with king-sized beds and private bath for all (or 1 room can be done as 2 twins instead), plus very nice half bath.Adrianna was an excellent coordinator in the planning phase, and Francisco paid attention to every detail while we were there. Both were very attentive and quick to respond to our questions and requests.I highly recommend this property!!"

"The property was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good view of the bay, which made our stay much better. If you wanted to do things on the bay, they suggested you to do so in the morning due to the wave in late morning. Food was okay, but some what limited since there were only 3 other locations and they could essentially be visited only once per stay. Other than that you had to eat at the buffet, which had limited selection. Overall, i would give this a rating of 3 stars. "

"Upon arrival, 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and both showers were in disrepair. Some of these were fixed, but hot water to the master bedroom shower never was. Hot water to any of the sinks is not even plumbed in. Then on day two, there was no water period. Emails sent to the owner elicited some repairs, but there was no written response at all from 3 emails sent. Sections of the house are locked off, depending on how many people you have staying with you. Since we had 7 people, we were locked out of 2 sections of the house that contained 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and the safe.There was much information about this property on the website that was either false or exaggerated:Location: The true location of this property is not where it was marked on the website map. Distance to the beach was listed at 11 min walk (now listed as 9 as I write this). We checked Google maps while at the property, and it’s 17 minutes walk plus 3 more to exit the community, and the main road you’d walk on has no sidewalk. Amenities list a gym, chef service, concierge, breakfast (for a fee): nope for these and more. Both pools were green when we arrived, and at least a score of tiles were detached from the upper one. Chemicals and chlorine were added, then on day 5 we were told it was safe. Our 6 year old promptly developed blotchy red patches all over his body. We left the pools alone after that. I could go on, but I think the point is made."
