"The hotel gardens and lobby area are beautiful. The rooms are a very good size. Half the staff are wonderful, the other half isn’t. Fairly modern rooms, but the carpet was separating from the wall in one area of the room making it a bit of a tripping hazard. Helpful tips: Don’t use the vending machine. "We were greet by a very friendly host who showed us to our room unlocked the door and already had the heating on so the room was lovely and warm as it was wet and cold when we arrived. The room was lovely and clean the bed was so comfy and there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again"

Lighting made the room very dinghy, cleaners started as early as 7am and very noisey, a small movement from another guest like showers made it hard to hear the tv. Very difficult to access property due to road works which was not made apparent to customers. The whole aurrounds feels a but run down and somewhat dangerous feeling at night time. "

"This accommodation is adequate and sufficient for the price we paid which was very reasonable. We did not have high expectations and are not needy. A room and a bathroom were all we needed for 1 night. We stayed on a Monday night and were lucky to get a corner room with a great view of the trees at Hagley Park.
