"Loved the hotel and the oldness of it. But front desk staff were soo nice, warm, and welcoming. The room was outdated, but we loved it. Bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The space was GREAT. The amenities were great. Only thing is our room did not cool down as much as we wanted it to, but we would love to stay again at this location if we made a visit to Reno. "

"The original room that i had booked was unavailable at check-in, so i was given an "upgrade". The room was in a convenient location from the exterior door, however it was in need of some maintenance. Both showers had large cracks in the tile and one of the mirrored closet doors was cracked. To get hot water, the water had to run for 5 minutes and then it never got really hot, just slightly above tepid. The noise from the floors above, flushing toilets and showering was extremely loud. "Got snowed in here for a couple days but had a wonderful time. Fun hotel with live music both nights was a great way to pass the time. Never mad about a good arcade and Mel’s had some solid food. Wish there was more options for eating near the area though and that the steak house wasn’t closed both the days we were there."
