"Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, lovely location and pool. Plenty of opportunities to enjoy antics of monkeys around the pool in the evenings. Steps could use a little more lighting at night and area can get a little noisy at night. Special shout out to Moses who went out of his way to engage and serve guests!"

"We were very pleasantly surprised that this hotel sits on the top of its very own nature park. We saw more wildlife here than in the parks! I regret I didn't bring a telephoto lens. Monkeys played every morning while the tucans sang their unique songs. It maintains an intimate tree-top like atmosphere with only a limited amount of rooms at the top. The open-air architecture has you feeling like you are in an upscale treehouse, with the dining bar on the edge of a large precipice looking out to the ocean. The staff were exceptionally friendly. One even went out on his day off to procure our son a birthday cake!"

"Gorgeous property, felt like luxury in the middle of the jungle. Our room was great - the shower is nice & gives you the option to open the sliding window & look at nature while you shower. We are not usually pool users but we loved the pools at Gaia & used them everyday. The drinks & food were above average & all of the staff were exceptional - patient & kind to us, remembering my husband & I by name. The hotel offers a free tour by the Macaw reserve & through the forest with Clarence - what a lovely guide & experience! The transportation to & from your room is via golf cart - this was no issue but something to be aware of. Overall a wonderful experience - would stay again in a heartbeat."

"Really enjoyed my time at Oasis Adult Retreat. I knew, when booking, that the hotel was clothing optional; this was never uncomfortable or made awkward the entire length of our stay.The owner, Stephan, very quickly makes you feel at ease once you arrive on property. We totally fell in love with Orlando a.k.a. "Gato". He was a grounds keeper on property and would find Sloths and leave a pair of binoculars out in an area where one was located. Our treehouse room had visits from several spider monkeys right on our balcony. I would not book a treehouse room if you find it difficult to navigate a lot of stairs, but there are other accomadations there that I am sure are just as nice. Everyone there was very nice and was eager to help with suggestions or anything we may need. We wouldn't hesitate going back on another trip to Manuel Antonio. Thanks so much yall."
