"The apartment is very clean and in a nice neighbourhood in Uptown DC. The kitchen is well equipped and it was great to have access to the outside patio. The parking outside was also a great bonus. One thing to note for tall people is that the ceiling is quite low so remember to duck! (My partner banged his head on the beams multiple times). Would recommend for a neighbourhood stay in DC."

If you are planning to do the same, and have family stay in the guest house for the weekend, read the contract *carefully*. We skimmed it and failed to realize that you’ll need to take all trash bags to the dumpster by the barn and strip all of the bed sheets and put them downstairs, etc…"

"The only complaint we have about our stay is that it wasn't long enough! The apartment was clean, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable (my husband got his first ever sleep score in the 90s!). The location was perfect for us - close to our daughter's university and walking distance to the zoo, the metro, Nat'l Cathedral, plus great shops and restaurants!"

"The house was really close to DC and made it easy to get into the city to see the memorials and museums. It was also close to the Zoo which made it nice to get an early start on the day. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed reading in the backyard around the fire pit while the little kids napped. We were able to park 2 minivans and an SUV in the parking area. "Very charming townhouse, great location. Stairs heading to the second floor were a little steep, but easy enough manage once you get used to it. Kitchen was spacious and larger than anticipated. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming as well."

"Property seems to be “mixed use” apartment complex. Some set up as hotel-like short term units and other for long term renters. (maybe section 8 tenants). The unit was as described. Clean and comfortable. Walking to and from the car was a bit anxiety provoking marijuana smoke every where and old unfinished portions of cigars and cigarette butts ever where."

"This extremely well renovated historic site could not possibly be in a better location for exploring Frederick. Danny was very responsive and checking in and out were easy. Keep in mind it's an historic site at the intersection of two streets, half a block from the art center and a lovely bridge across the creek - all positives, but you do need to keep privacy in mind. Sort of like a condo at the beach right on the boardwalk. Regardless, we're already talking about this spot becoming our go-to...

"We loved the property. It was just as described in the profile. The place was extremely clean and had all the amenities needed while staying in a home-away-from home. It had ample space for my family and me. We did have issues with contacting the host but am not sure this was an issue on his part or with VRBO. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay. We definitely plan to try to make it a regular place on our list of stays while our daughter is in college."
