There are a few places where wear and tear were beginning to show and might need some attention. The bedding was adquate, but not luxury, and the light above the sink in guest bath didn't work. "Everything was wonderful with two small exceptions. There were no oven mitts or salt, pepper, spices etc. to help facilitate our personal cooking. With large family we don’t have the option to go out to eat regularly. There is an Aldi’s less than a mile away, which is great. Also there was not much for rags and kitchen towels etc, for cleaning. "

"What a lovely home! We enjoyed everything about our stay. It was close enough to DC to get there easily, but far enough away to escape the crowds and traffic. The house was clean and well-kept, and the kitchen was stocked with many helpful items. We loved having a yard and a driveway with designated parking. Everything went smoothly, and we highly recommend this home. "

"Being able to walk to the Silver Spring Metro station was a big plus, which allowed us to leave our car each day. There are plenty of restaurant options just up the hill from the house. Although it's listed as a basement, there were plenty of windows to bring in natural light.We would choose this place again. "
