"This cottage could not be more welcoming. The decor, cleanliness, and "farmhouse coziness" are unmatched. We lucked out because the trees surrounding the property were in full autumn mode, and it was absolutely gorgeous. We even brought our Rottweiler, and she loved playing catch in the spacious fields surrounding the property. If you have the need for a place to stay in this area, hurry up and book this cottage. "This VRBO home could not have been any better! It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you can possibly need. The owner, Lynn, answered all of our questions and responded to our text messages quickly. She could not have been more helpful. Location is ideal close to wineries and great restaurants. we enjoyed the grill on the back deck as well as the relaxing creek and chairs around the fire pit We enjoyed our stay here so much. "The cottage was everything and more than promised. We were vacationing and exploring DC - very convenient to the Metro and it was great having a “home” to come back to in the evening instead of a hotel room. Craig was responsive but gave us our space. We would recommend staying if you are looking for something in the area. You won’t be disappointed. As a bonus, the dogs were very friendly and made us laugh."
