"Just back from 3 nights at the Plantage. We stayed in room 15, our friends were in 22 and room 34 in the attic. Excellent stay, 15 minutes walk from Red Light district, Rembrandtplein and 20 minutes walk from Central Station. The Number 9 tram can take you to Dam Square in 5 minutes from just around the corner. The receptionist/ Manager very welcoming on arrival explained all that was close by for food beer and cigarettes. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and bedding clean. Clean towels on...

"This is a friendly place in a university part of town. Good eateries locally and a really positive feel in the area and close to metro and tram. You can walk into town in 20-30 mins. I stayed for a week for work and found it a friendly place. "

"Staff were helpful and friendly, would stay here again. Only thing i would say is that it was a bit outdated and needs some attention - the curtains didn't fit the entire window so was woken up by the daylight even if we wanted a lie in but other than that we couldn't fault it!
