"3 generations of our family enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving at this warm and inviting home. The views are spectacular, and all the little details around the property were great fun to explore! Kitchen is very well stocked. The wood-burning stove and electric fireplaces did a remarkable job of heating the entire place but did take a little to warm up, so we were grateful to have brought a couple of small space heaters for the extra bedrooms. "We didn’t spend much time at the actual property as we were in Julian for a wedding. I did very much enjoy eating breakfast outside both mornings partaking in the view and sunshine. If we get the chance to visit Julian again I would stay in this house again. It has lots of outdoor seating to be enjoyed in warm weather. It is private but with easy access to recreational activities in the area. It would be a good base camp. "

"Great stay in a secluded small mountain community. This is our second stay at this property and we love it even more. Really cozy place with the unique fireplace and comfortable beds. "Roger was a great host, his property has an amazing view and was well stocked with supplies. Only detail I would suggest for the host would be a shower curtain around the bathtub in the guest bath with maybe an extended arm to have both bathrooms to have showers in it. Otherwise, it was a great location and stay"
