"The views and access to private beach were sensational! My family enjoyed our stay in our flat that overlooked the beautiful ocean. When visiting Buzios, we will choose to stay here rather than in town. The beach and views are to die for, and it’s a quick trip in town to enjoy shops, restaurants and other beaches. Going to sleep and waking up at Apa Pau was a dream. We could hear waves crashing and watch sea turtles and sea birds from above. We were in heaven! "

"The breakfast buffet was pretty good, and the pool looked cool. Besides that, the rest of the hotel was only ok. There was pretty much no room cleaning service, which I actually usually prefer, but in this case I would have preferred to have my waste can emptied daily since you weren't supposed to throw toilet paper down the toilet (this may be a Buzios-wide limitation). Location was good for me since I had a conference at the nearby conference center, but this place isn't close to the city...

"Overall a good experience. Breakfast was just above average as was the room. Hot water was lacking, but the view made up for many of the deficiencies. Spectacular. Pedro was a great host, but some other staff were less than friendly. Parking very convenient and walkability to Buzios centro and Joao Fernandes beach was good. Pool was very pleasant."
