"Great location short walking distance to restaurants & shops. Incredible view from pool area (and from some rooms). Comfortable bed. Safe in one of our rooms was inoperable. Shower heads spray more water to the sides than down. Breakfast was good (but not as diverse or plentiful as other places we stayed furing this trip) Would gladly stay stay here again (but ideally with better shower heads). "

"The location of the pousada is great. The staff did the best they could, they are very nice. However the pousada is just not in the greatest shape. We had the master suite, the nicest room in the pousada and even it just wasn't kept up. It has some charm, Ill give it that, and its hard for me to write a negative review. But the balcony door didnt close all the way, the bathroom window didnt close at all, despite that, we felt safe, but the large gaps allowed for bugs. We had a small roach, lots...

"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the language barrier was a slight issue but luckily google translate helped us out! The hotel has amazing views but be warned there are very steep hills from the beach and town to achieve this view. Definitely worth paying for a sea view as the room downstairs was a little dark and dingy next to a loud barking dog!"

"Be ready for a few steps up and down the hotel. If you have difficulty walking, or you are an elderly person, I would not recommend staying here. Otherwise, it is a great hotel and location."
