Very charming area with lots of restaurants, bars and hotels honoring Brigitte Bardot, complete with a more than half century old statue along the walk that still draws everyone in to stop and get a selfie. We had the master suite, the nicest room in the pousada and even it just wasn't kept up. It has some charm, Ill give it that, and its hard for me to write a negative review. "The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the language barrier was a slight issue but luckily google translate helped us out! The hotel has amazing views but be warned there are very steep hills from the beach and town to achieve this view. Definitely worth paying for a sea view as the room downstairs was a little dark and dingy next to a loud barking dog!"
