"We loved our time here. Very spacious house & guest house. Communication was superb! Very clean! Great recommendations to local restaurants. We loved walking down to the river to look and spot sloths! "

"A nice home on a large and lovely property, with a pool, a pond and expect to see many different kind of beautiful birds. About 7 kms from La Fortuna, but there is a nice restaurant nearby and a grocery store in the village. Bedrooms have shelf storage but no closets or ways to hang clothing, which can be an issue for extended stays. Hot water in bathrooms only, but not in kitchen. Extra cleaning, towels, etc. readily available for extended stays."

"Property overall is amazing! The location is wonderful with wildlife right outside the door. But if lacks sufficient furniture to seat everyone and doesnt have dressers or any bedroom furniture to unpack for longer stays. There is a lovely town to the left away from La Fortuna with a meat market, bakery, and fruit and vegetable stand that are wonderful! "

"We were getting late because of the delayed flight and communication with the property manager was very good and they did everything to help us navigate to the place late at night. We enjoyed staying at the property. It’s very serene with the garden. I like that the location is a little bit secluded, so there’s no traffic - peace and quiet. The place itself was very clean."

"We liked the layout and the rooms had everything you needed (except there was no oven - but we didn't need that). Kitchen was fully stocked. Back yard was beautiful. Location was good but down a dirt road - close enough to town but not to really walk it. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for others."

"Loved this place! Liked how we felt in the jungle but were very close to town. We did see two sloths on our property, but someone had to point them out to us. Love drinking coffee on the porch and listening to the running river. So many local restaurants and shops. I would recommend the local market on the corner for fresh fruits and veggies and we loved the coffee shop next door. "

"You will need to have a car to stay at this unique property in La Fortuna. It is the perfect home to rent if two families or a large group of friends are traveling together. The home was clean. The common spaces were a little small, so it makes a great place to rest your head at night but not to hang out as a group. It is a quick drive into La Fortuna and all the activites in the area. "Our family spent Christmas in La Fortuna at this beautiful house. There was plenty of room for seven adults to relax and enjoy spending time together. The property is not in the town which made for a serene visit. Driving to town was a quick 20 minute drive to most attractions. We really enjoyed the pool, the views and seasonable weather. I highly recommend Daughter of the Moon for those looking to visit the La Fortuna area. It was spectacular! "
