"Quiet neighborhood with a rainforest like atmosphere. Covered outside area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and libations in the evening after a grand hike around the rim. The beds were soft. The gas fireplace was awesome on a rainy evening after dinner. This place was perfect for our stay and we would love to stay here again given the opportunity. "

"Loved this beautiful, handcrafted home tucked into an amazing rainforest. Loads of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Sitting outside listening to the night sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable. This house has lots of interesting artwork—so I will say that if you have an inquisitive 4-year-old in your group, you will have to keep vigilant watch!! Getting to the national park and Hilo was easy. "

"Could not have landed a better spot on the Hilo side of the island. Beautiful neighborhood and excellent location. Across the street from the beach park and 10 minutes outside of town it was an excellent stay for 3 days. Some may not enjoy the experience of the local Tacoma boyz culture but we loved it and had fun rating all the suped up cars peeling out over the speedbumps. It only last till about 7-8pm when they close the park gates so it makes for great evening entertainment. If you are lucky...
