"We arrived to this lovely property in the afternoon. The host was very prompt with communication replies. The property itself was great. Lovely weather - it rained at night, but the covered walkway from the bedroom to the bathroom and kitchen kept us dry. The hot water outdoor shower was very nice. We used the coffee machine to make coffee. The internet was fast and usable for remote work. There is a little fridge we used to cool drinks. The queen size bed was very comfortable and clean. ...

"Beautiful property, and accessible to everything. Our family enjoyed it. My 8-year-old boy enjoyed the board games. The only thing is they don't have enough bedsheets and pillowcases (there's 8 adults and 1 child in our group). Also, they have super old and scratched none stick pans for cooking."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the design and spaciousness of this lovely home! Listening to the night sounds of the "jungle" while walking around on the wrap around deck was awesome. Sipping my coffee in the dining room in the morning listening to the sound of silence recharged my soul! It was a great location to stay to enjoy Volcano National Park."

The jungle atmosphere and the sounds at night were amazing! We like to take the road less traveled so we loved the location being far from tourists. "The view cannot be beat! The living room, 1 bedroom, and main space are separate buildings connected with a covered walkway. I over looked the fact that it does not have air conditioning, for us that was not good. The view though is spectacular! "

"We had a great time at Valerie's house! It was decorated in Hawaiian style, and had all necessary amenities. It's located in a quiet neighborhood - we felt safe, and had a lot of privacy. You can explore the Hilo area or the Volcano National Park without having to drive all the way from Kona. "
