"We have stayed at the Corus the same weekend for the last 5 years. The service has always been good but the hotel is looking very tired once you move away from the reception area. We had a message to say that the hotel was closing the day we left for work to be carried out but it didn't say what the work would be. Hopefully it will be a refit. The breakfast this year was a let down. Not as much choice as usuall but we put this down to the closure. We use this hotel as we attend the Albert Hall...

"Great location; across street from Hyde Park and close to transit stations. Beautiful old building and rooms were adequately sized, but the decor needs attention. I understand that they are going for a retro ‘70’s vibe, but it just looks shabby and old and needs some refreshing. Smells a bit musty too. It could be really beautiful on the inside if some updating was done. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay."
