"The house feels very well-loved. It has a real sense of personality, warmth, and whimsy. I appreciated my dealings with the host and how accommodating she was. It's cozy, as mentioned in the listing, but there's a very smart use of space (the kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals.) If you do have mobility issues, though, the bathroom is really tiny and the steps to the basement are quite narrow. But overall, I'd definitely recommend."

"This was perfect for going to an event at Lumen filed ! The bus stop is right outside of the property, and made it super convenient for getting around while we were there. The loft has plenty of space and everything equipped inside that you need for the stay. There were even enough fans for every room, which we all really enjoy sleeping with a fan, so that was added bonus. We would definitely choose to stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at South Swell! My wife and I have rented around and about Tofino for years and I can honestly say that we have never encountered a rental so considerately and completely appointed as South Swell! Comfortable beds, quality bath products and a kitchen that will delight any cook! Would stay here again or recommend! Cheers!"

"I went to 2 Baseball games rode the rail to both and super close and convenient. I then rode the rail to the airport and just as easy. Would stay here again."

"This is a beautiful house with views of the water and quick access to the Alki beach area. The house was immaculate and spacious. Our children had fun claiming their bedrooms and running up and down the stairs. There were so many extras in this home: tons of board games, a record/radio player and a working fireplace in the dining room. Whenever we return to the Seattle area, we will definitely be staying here."

"A couple of days after we made our initial reservation, we decided to add an additional week. This required making a second reservation and, therefore, generated a request from VRBO for a second review. Our comments have already been posted under the title "Clean, functional, easy drive to shopping & tourist sites.""

"The place is great. A small view of the ocean and easy walk to downtown. Kitchen was well stocked.The only negative would be the pullout sofa. They do know that there is an issue, but have not fixed yet. 2 people ended up sleeping on the floor because it was more comfortable."

"A spacious comfortable suite with all required amenities with wonderful deck & garden views of the area. Host was wonderful, kind & helpful & his friendly happy dogs welcomed my old dog too. Central location for Colwood, Langford & Metchosin & easy access to Victoria. "

"The property was extremely convenient for visiting family. The incredible view from the property was an added extra. We will be looking to stay here again the next time we are in Victoria. A great experience. "

"Over all the hotel is nice area to stay,its very quiet and away from noise from the village. building needs some upgrade. My only compalin is, how iwish they can make a door inside to go to the pool and hot tub without going outside the hotel lobby. Its kinda awkward wearing a robe seeing people lining up checking in and out. "

"Cute hotel! Finding it is a tad bit awkward but once you get there it's great! Only negative i can say is furniture and carpet are dated and a bit worn, but it doesn't deter from the great location and off the beaten path!"
