"The first thing we noticed was the stunning view over the sea and mountains, it really is fully 180 degrees. "The villa is modern, well equipped, spacious, and has a great heated pool. A/C works well and all windows have shutters. Terrific views across Almenucar, and is in a quiet safe area with easy on street parking. The arrival arrangements were not good - instructions for location sent on the day and then no information to say it was self check-in and that the owner was not going to be there - they were in the UK - and a delay in locating keys because of a lack of pre-arrival information. "This is a lovely large Villa which was perfect for us as we were 3 families holidaying together. Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. Very manageable, but if you struggle then there are plenty of taxis around for a lift back up (7 Euros). Lovely area - very spanish which was great. Almunicar is a 20 min walk along the beach front. "We just had a fab holiday in Villa Cecilia…Perfect pool, perfect house. The villa is up a mountain with the last three minutes…not for the faint hearted. Really peaceful, as has no phone signal. "Initially we thought the photographs showed the property in a better light than upon inspection. However this feeling wore off during our stay. The heated pool was great, although the manual cover was a bit of a pain to pull over each night. Didn’t use the hot tub or the sauna, more than happy to lay outside in the sunshine with occasional dips into the pool. "Went out of season, so very difficult to give a review of the resort as there was nothing going on. Good location - walkable to ski lifts. Though not ski in, ski out. Very clean. I was a bit worried about access - directions to get in weren't brilliantly clear - more communication prior to arrival would be beneficial. "Everything was perfect about this hotel. Great location to almost everything in Granada - the Albacín, the cathedral, and the Alhambra. We both walked and took a cabs - most of the latter were only 5-7 euros. Good dining options nearby too. The room was very spacious and clean, about the only complaint (minor) was the pillows were weirdly too long and big, but otherwise everything was great. The staff was also extremely nice and very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate again to stay. "

"Gorgeous hotel, befitting of the very close Alhambra location. Our huge room was amazing with view of the Alhambra, at night especially pretty, soaking tub in middle of room with beautiful windows.Beautiful terrace for drinks, we had an amazing dinner, the tarte cake with chestnut sauce melts in your mouth. Very close walk to the monument and a beautiful garden. Peaceful "

Perfect

"The stay was perfect from start to finish. Thd staff were exemplary and the ambience of the hotel was perfect. Room and bed were comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. A big shout out to Claudia, as she responded quickly to our emails and, as we were there for our 42nd wedding anniversary, was surprised when a complimentary bottle of Cava arrived at our room. A fantastic, truly appreciated gift."
