"The first thing we noticed was the stunning view over the sea and mountains, it really is fully 180 degrees. The villa is bigger than it looks on the website with more to see, we stay at different villas 2 or 3 times a year and this is one of the best, very spacious and individually furnished, it is more like staying in a home rather than a rental, even the kitchen knives were sharp not something we normally find. "Initially we thought the photographs showed the property in a better light than upon inspection. However this feeling wore off during our stay. The heated pool was great, although the manual cover was a bit of a pain to pull over each night. Didn’t use the hot tub or the sauna, more than happy to lay outside in the sunshine with occasional dips into the pool. However, some of the sun beds need replacing, the webbing has stretched to the extent that your back is resting on the metal support bars...

"First of all the welcome was perfect. Nicky met us at Castell de Ferro and guided us through the winding roads to the Villa. The house itself was huge and very well presented. With 5 spacious bedrooms and almost as many bathrooms. The children loved exploring every bit of it. In terms of amenities, the house is very well equipped had everything our family needed. There was even an extra fridge freezer in the laundry room (in case we got too carried away with our shopping). Entertainment wise...

The urbanisation is very well kept and the communal pool area is a very nice addition. Whilst the property could do with a little bit of updating here and there, we really have no complaints at all and would recommend it as a great place to stay."

"Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Salobrena. Het huis heeft een geweldig uitzicht en absoluut pluspunt is het verwarmde zwembad. "Fantastic villa and hosts. The care and pride of ownership came through. The outside garden was wonderful.The best tomatoes ever tasted! Bedroom location is excellent for 2-3 couples. Upper sun deck is a magical place with a G&T and garden lemon watching the sun set. Villa excellently equipped, all appliances bedding, beds were of a high quality.Would certainly recommend."

I was a bit worried about access - directions to get in weren't brilliantly clear - more communication prior to arrival would be beneficial. Absolutely Fabulous!

"I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof but we didnt have any problems. Will stay again."

"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It was comfortable and the staff very welcoming. It runs a breakfast and dinner buffet which is very reasonably priced (if you haven’t selected the half board option at booking) and good quality. The hotel says it offers parking but when we arrived there was none available in its car park . On street parking is possible at €12/day but getting a space nearby was challenging. The hotel is cery close to the chair lift down into the centre of Pradollano and lift passes can be bought from the machine in the hotel reception. The decor is a little tired and dated but overall comfortable for a family trip. We are definitely considering a return trip"
