"This is a lovely large Villa which was perfect for us as we were 3 families holidaying together. Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. Very manageable, but if you struggle then there are plenty of taxis around for a lift back up (7 Euros). Lovely area - very spanish which was great. Almunicar is a 20 min walk along the beach front. "When we arrived it was dark and we struggled to get the key from the box. We are older and were stunned to find around 34 steep steps, which we had to carry two 23 kilo bags down.On entering the house there was no power or light. The villa is bigger than it looks on the website with more to see, we stay at different villas 2 or 3 times a year and this is one of the best, very spacious and individually furnished, it is more like staying in a home rather than a rental, even the kitchen knives were sharp not something we normally find. "We are a family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 4 years old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It is spacious and very clean. Although rustic this house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is excellent and welcome on hot evenings. The pool and the surrounding area are fabulous. Very clean and well maintained. The views are spectacular and well worth the short journey up the hill.
