"The first thing we noticed was the stunning view over the sea and mountains, it really is fully 180 degrees. "The villa was fantastic, clean, spacious and very well equipped. The pool and the views were awesome. Plenty of places to visit locally, and Almunecar was a very nice town. Antonio met us on arrival and showed us around, and explained how everything worked. Excellent welcome pack, the best we have ever had. All in all we had a very enjoyable week. "

"This is a very nice property in a wonderful position. Everything worked as it should and the host was very helpful. The urbanisation is very well kept and the communal pool area is a very nice addition. Whilst the property could do with a little bit of updating here and there, we really have no complaints at all and would recommend it as a great place to stay."

"Wij zijn een week geweest met een paar vrienden en hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het enige waar je rekening moet houden is dat de grote supermarkten wat verder rijden zijn. Verder was het uitzicht prachtig en de omgeving erg rustgevend. Het verblijf in de villa was top, van alle gemakken voorzien en fijn informeel contact met de eigenaren. Zeker de moeite waard om naar toe te gaan."

We had 4 in our party 1 couple and 2 singles .. the pictures really don’t do the property justice and the value for money was outstanding!! We would definitely go again ..!!! Loved everything about it!! And the area was soo beautiful and Very Spanish.. definite bonus .. the host Sgur was extremely helpful and the house manager Graham was excellent at his job and extremely friendly!! "

"Great location and superb views. The area is lovely. Weather unbeatable. No mosquitos or flies and Orgiva is well serviced with shops and bar/restaurants. The house has got all you need and is very spacious. It needs a bit of update here and there but it's the countryside environment and we loved it. I would have given 5 stars but there was an issue with a nearby youth summer camp that played music at a very high volume, unfortunately. Not every day and not all day. Caroline kindly informed us...

"Loved the house. The garden is magical and the pool stunning, lots of lovely places to sit and eat outside. I especially liked my room at the end with the onsuite bathroom, gorgeous decor and tiles. Only one issue which is the 2 central bedrooms were abit too hot at night, aircon in those would really help.. would book again. Maybe the dark blue doesn’t help? "

"First of all the welcome was perfect. Nicky met us at Castell de Ferro and guided us through the winding roads to the Villa. The house itself was huge and very well presented. With 5 spacious bedrooms and almost as many bathrooms. The children loved exploring every bit of it. In terms of amenities, the house is very well equipped had everything our family needed. There was even an extra fridge freezer in the laundry room (in case we got too carried away with our shopping). Entertainment wise...

"My husband, son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 stayed at Sigi’s place for 14 nights. The setting is beautiful. The villa itself is simple and very stylish with everything you need. The pool is definitely the best pool we have ever had with the most amazing picture perfect backdrop. The children spent hours in it playing volleyball. Perfect location from which to explore the superb hiking and beautiful villages further into the Alpujarras while also being less than an hour's drive from Granada and the coast. "What a fantastic holiday. The house was perfect and full of character. Lots of places to relax in the sun and shade. Wonderful location in a peaceful village but within driving distance from Granada, the coast and other surrounding towns and villages. Siobhan was very helpful with lots of information about the house and surrounding area. Particularly enjoyed the walks from the village, including the gorge. Would recommend to anyone interested in a peaceful holiday."
