"This is a solid 3 star hotel. The room was recently remodeled and clean. The walls are thin, can hear traffic and other guests. There is only shampoo in the shower, no soap or conditioner. Free large bottle of water. If you are expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel, this isn't for you. We were very happy for a 3 star hotel that was clean and a 3-15 minute walk to a lot of sites. The staff was very friendly."

"Location, location location: this hotel is right on the spot where the ancient hippodrome used to be and 5 minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia and all the action. Plenty of eating options very close by. The hotel is busy - even in the low season. There are a few issues: first - and most importantly - the 'standard' rooms are not all equal. The first room we were put in was small and basic and a twin despite us having requested a double bed. We complained and they 'upgraded' us to a 'standard'...
