"i loved my stay here. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. additionally, i had stayed in this hotel for three nights, left for three days, and then came back for an additional one night stay, and when we checked in for our last night they upgraded our room free of charge. it was a very nice and pleasant surprise. i highly recommend staying here. "The Dersaadet Hotel has a perfect location in Sultanahmet and is in easy walking distance of many tourist sites such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Hippodrome. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakast on the rooftop was good. What was extra special were the friendly and helpful staff who were always there to help meet your needs. "Lovely greeting from the hotel staff. Room was clean and tidy and was serviced daily. Great view from the roof top looking towards the sea in one direction and Blue Mosque in the other. "It is a tiny hotel with very small rooms and bathrooms, which is very common in Istanbul because millions of people live in limited space. Building is quite old, which is also common but kept quite clean. Free breakfast is minimalist but adequate. Hotel manager is very welcoming and very helpful.
