"We were really lucky to come across this hotel. Initially, we were attracted by cost and location. But the hotel was so much better than we had anticipated. Partly through our interactions with hotel personnel, who were wonderful, but mostly on the basis of the sheer charm of the hotel. A lovely room, attractive lounges for relaxation, an excellent breakfast. Nowadays many hotels tend to be on the overly functional side--indeed, drab. The Niles, on the other hand, was a lovely experience. ...

"We loved this hotel! We had a wonderful 4th floor room with a balcony that wrapped around and gave us a city and ocean view. The area was very safe and we loved Istanbul. The hotel is so close to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Mostly we loved the staff! So very welcoming and helpful!! Thx! Donna P"
