"Nice old pub with period features in the rooms and common areas. Friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Only issue is no lift if you are not as mobile as you used to be but staff helped with luggage but staff helped with that. Overall an enjoyable couple of days "

"All the staff we had interactions with were fabulous, they couldn’t do enough for us, so friendly and accommodating 10/10. The establishment is well kept and modern. Plenty of parking, close to petrol station and Woolworths and food outlets. Would recommend."

"Room was clean, bed was comfortable. We felt safe around the area. There was free parking all the essential you needed during our stay. The bathroom was a little dated compared to other holiday parks we've been too but that's all. Overall it was a great experience. Staff was fast and very helpful. "

"Nice, cute place and very clean. Friendly staff. Love the fact that you can have your very own outdoor hot tub if you book a room on the first floor. Disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open as it is still in the process of being approved by the council. The nearby cafes make up for it. Perfect place to stay as it is only 15 minutes away from the Redwood Forest and 20 to 30 minutes away from the geothermal sites south of Rotorua. "
