Rainbow Falls can only be seen by hiking the 2 additional miles from Devils Postpile (0.4 mi) from the trailhead. The only way to reach the trailhead is by taking a shuttle inside Devils Postpile National Monument in Mammoth, California. The hike is easy but fairly open so it can get pretty hot in the summer, but the view of Rainbow Falls is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend making the trip if you’re in Mammoth. Great place near Yosemite

"Charming cabin, pleasing property, free wine tasting. Restaurant and winery are great, owner has homeade bread for sale, and homeade cookies in our room when we checked in. Very close to Yosemite! Restaurant is popular with locals, always a good sign."
