"居心地の良いホテルでした。お部屋も綺麗で過ごしやすく、周辺には美味しいご飯屋さんもあり楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。一つだけ、シャワー室のドアと壁の隙間から水がジャバジャバ漏れる設計でした。そこだけは直したら良いのかもしれません。"

"Our host (Tai) was very friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean, the location was excellent (very close to Gora Station) and it was affordable. The place could use a little fixing up. At least one bathroom stall was closed (inoperable), one shower operable but needed fixing, and in the rock onsen, one of the shower hoses was leaking. Great for budget but could be better if some maintenance was done."

"My family and I stayed here two nights just before Christmas. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner offers a shuttle bus during the morning hours to Gora Station, which is very helpful for getting to Hakone ropeway. Local restaurants were a bit unaccessible as it was off-season but this inn has its own great little restaurant kitchen. We had two dinners here and tried almost everything on the menu. "Unbelievable night here. Views of lake Ashi and Mount Fuji the best you can get. Even from our personal onsen or balcony footpath. The kids loved watching a movie on the big projector while the parents enjoyed the view. Fridge full of free gifts of food, wine and beer plus soft drinks also. Nice touch. We absolutely loved it here. Caught the bus from odawara station which took about 55mins and the bus stop is just outside the accommodation (Hakone Shiso Mae). On way back 2 bus stops either side...

"It is a 5-star hotel with 5-star service :). If you miss the scheduled (only a few times during the day) pickup at the train station, just go to the cable car station and call the hotel. They will send a van to pick you up in less than 10 min. For travellers who use data only SIM plan, make sure you have app (we use Skype to make the call) that can make international phone call."

"Excellent onsen ryokan at a very competitive price. You to select three 50 minute sessions in one of the three on-site onsens per day (one in the morning, two in then evening). The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's a bit of a hike uphill from the station but nothing someone moderately fit can't handle."

"Amazing hotel with stunning views of Lake Ashi. All-inclusive resort style, with Breakfast and dinner buffet included. Onsen with indoor and open air pools, all necessary toiletries provided, toothbrush/toothpaste, razors, q tips, combs, amazing skin care products! The Hakone Ropeway is just a 3-5 minute walk. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!"
