"For this particular occasion, I wanted the setting to be somewhat rustic and Forrest Hills was the perfect environment. The exterior of the buildings needs some facelift, but we were pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the rooms that looked like they had been recently renovated. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant food at the Hideaway restaurant was excellent along with the service."

"Very nice property. Beautiful view. Very narrow spiral staircase going downstairs. No door inside to get to hot tub. You have to go outside to access. Kids loved it and used it often. Water pressure in showers not very good. My only major negative would be all the “don’t do this” and “don’t do that” signs all over the place. A little intimidating. Overall, a good time was had by all. It was too cold to sleep enjoy the lake toys."

"We stopped here for a few days over Christmas to break up a long drive. House was relaxing with great views. Neighborhood was great for walks with the dogs. No complaints!!"

"Great place. Very comfortable. Wonderful views. Bring a smaller vehicle, as the driveway is tight and steep! We had a 13 passenger van and I aged three years every time we had to drive out."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! From the moment we arrived it immediately felt like home. The decor was so intentional and gave the perfect cabin vibe. The property is beautiful and just as described/pictured. The creek and fire pit were all he highlights of our stay. As others have mentioned, it is a bit tough to get to the property due to steepness or driveway and gravel roads, so that is something to consider if you don’t have the right type of vehicle but we had no issues getting there....
