"The house was exactly as it was listed. Very homey and comfortable. We did have trouble finding the house at first as we couldn’t see the house number very easily, but the gentleman working on the house next door was super friendly and helpful. The house was just a 10 minute walk to Main St which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lake Placid!"

"Wow! This property was perfect for our fall family trip. Its location was off the beaten path but close enough to town to give us easy access to activities. We were impressed by the amount of water frontage. We had extraordinary weather for October and were able to fish and use the provided canoe. Our host, Alan, was easy to contact and responsive to our questions/needs before, during, and after our stay. We are so happy to have found this place!"

"We stayed here for a family trip a few years back and then decided to re-book for a solo trip this year with our two pups! We unfortunately could not make the trip last minute but the host was so kind and helpful with this news. From our previous stay I can say that the location of this rental is the BEST if you are coming to hike around the ADK. The house itself was well kept and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We will definitely be re-booking a trip here again soon! "

"The home was lovely, just as expected. The rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was great. The Hosts were very helpful and provided great pre-trip information on places to go and where to eat. We spent a little too much time at the ice cream shop, the breakfast place and bakery in town, but all our walking helped with that. "We had a great time in Lake Placid at Patricia's place. It had plenty of room for our family of 5. The location was great for exploring downtown Lake Placid. There are many good places to eat close by as well as lots of outdoor activities. Pat was great with communication and it was easy to access the space. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."
